This is album is emotionally devastating. Initially I read these as love songs, but now I hear a story of orange, someone matured and totally jaded to the point of actively grieving pink, who represents every shred of naivete, ignorance and safety stolen away by the cruelty of life. People talk about how this album is like howling into the abyss but for me it's screaming at the gaping holes that I'll never get back. A painful experience, but definitely one worth having. Cnámha

Thank Goddess for this wondrous album, which I should have picked up aeons ago. The otherworldly atmosphere this trio weaves is utterly intoxicating and wholly (holy) their own.
Sincerest thanks for putting this and Feminazgul’s other albums in the feed today @Sælzer Bub; your timing was impeccable! MJ

Here I am sitting in misery with the migraine of my life, and I think I've found my cure. Mare Cognitum is not just giving me relief from my suffering; it is giving me energy as the pure and unadulterated rage and fury of Solar Paroxysm is being channelled through my body. I really regret not giving Mare Cognitum a second chance earlier, but I can now live at peace knowing that I'm lucky enough to be able to experience such an exhilarating and majestic masterpiece of brutality and therapy. Jordan Vauvert
