A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure. brantly
Spellwind takes you to another dimension,as expected from good Dark Dungeon Music, and shows you around with a rather melancholic mood. You can listen front to back and never have the need to skip a track, perfect to dream away or trip on mushrooms. Its what Mortiis tried to make but never archived after the Crypt of the Wizard, a polished piece of amber containing a whole universe to explore Tleilaxu
A mind-bending psychedelic rock opera with the songs to match, “Xafyre Dynasty” has its controls set for the heart of the sun. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 24, 2022
This album speaks to me on a deep level. I am extremely large, titanic I've been called. I am also covered in scales and prone to incredible fits of extreme rage, yet I am stoic and majestic all the same. 10/10 dinosynth heavy_samuel
